March 6-8, 2016, Jacob Javits Convention Center, New York, NY – Repêchage Professional Skin Care gathered for another year of spa and beauty at the International Esthetics, Cosmetics, & Spa Conference in New York City!
At this year’s show, beauty professionals were able to witness and experience the newest facial from Repêchage – the Hydra 4 Red-Out® Facial, which has received attention from editors and fans since its introduction in May 2015.
Show attendees visited the booth to experience this new treatment designed to calm symptoms of rosacea and hypersensitive skin. Research has found that one possible cause of rosacea are skin microbes that thrive on the skin. This is why the Hydra 4 Red-Out® Facial has been designed with Micro Silver, a proven anti-microbial ingredient that reduces the bacteria in which microbes thrive and therefore helping soothe inflamed and irritated skin. Repêchage is the first skin care company in the U.S. to utilize this important new skin care ingredient. Combined with the rich blend of vitamins, minerals, trace elements, amino acids and anti-oxidants in seaweed, this Repêchage treatment creates the ideal environment for healthy skin.
Attendees were also able to witness the Repêchage Facial Bar Concept. Applying Sarfati’s mantra, “Show, tell, and you will sell”, Sarfati created this spa concept to get customers to get involved with treatments. “What the facial bar does is bring that facial out of the closet,” says Sarfati, “shorter, express treatments allow clients to experience more of the beauty services that are offered in the salon.”
Show attendees were also able to experience Facial Bar treatments themselves, including Repêchage Signature Treatments, such as the Repêchage Four Layer Facial®, Repêchage Vita Cura® 5 Phase Firming Facial, and express treatments like the Repêchage Seaweed Mask, Opti-Firm® Eye Contour Treatment and Hydra Dew® Express Lift Facial.
Repêchage CEO and Founder Lydia Sarfati wore multiple hats at the show, splitting her time between the Repêchage booth, speaking with the press, and providing education for attendees.
Lydia Sarfati, Repêchage CEO & Founder and Honorary Chairman of CIDESCO USA, teaching her class “Classic European Facial Massage” at IECSC New York
Serving as Honorary Chairman of CIDESCO USA, Sarfati hosted three classes on behalf of CIDESCO, “The World’s Major International Beauty Therapy Association.” In “Classic European Facial Massage” Sarfati discussed how estheticians can improve their understanding of the function of the muscles, lymph and circulatory systems, in order to provide maximum benefits to clients.
Sarfati also joined forces with Dr. Joseph Michael Pober, MD, FACS, and Plastic Surgeon of Pober MD Medi Spa. During their class, “Youthful Skin: A Professional Approach to Rejuvenation” the two experts discussed esthetic and medical approaches to achieving success in facial rejuvenation. Following the lecture, both Sarfati and Dr. Pober provided an esthetic and medical demonstration for attendees. Sarfati also held a third class this year, teaching a skin care refresher course in “Skincare 101: The Fundamentals of Esthetics.”
