June 2-4, 2018, Orlando, FL – Repêchage® Professional Skin Care and Lydia Sarfati launched an array of new seaweed-based products and treatments, including their newest professional express treatments, at-home sheet masks, and newly relaunched Repêchage® Perfect Skin Mineral Makeup Collection. Over 100 guests also participated in Repêchage® education at this year’s show.
Beauty professionals gathered at the Repêchage® booth to watch live demonstrations and learn about the new Repêchage® Red-Out® Express Soothing Facial For Sensitive Skin, Repêchage® Biolight® Express Brightening Facial For Dull, Uneven Skin, and three new retail sheet masks that allow clients to continue the benefits of these treatments at home: Repêchage® Red-Out® Soothing Sheet Mask, Repêchage® Biolight® Brightening Sheet Mask, and Repêchage® Lamina Lift™ Hydrating Seaweed Mask.
The new Repêchage® Express Facials provide many of the benefits of full facial treatments in half the time by utilizing pre-saturated sheet masks to provide exceptional results in 30 minutes. These new solutions for sensitive skin and uneven skin tone can be used to supplement regular monthly full facial treatments, and are a great to pair with popular spa services, such as massage. Sheet masks are also predicted to be big business in the beauty market. According to a new market report published by Transparency Market Research, the global sheet face mask market is expected to reach a value of US$ 551.3 million by 2026. ¹
Attendees also were introduced to the newly designed Repêchage® Perfect Skin Mineral Makeup, including the Repêchage® Perfect Skin Conditioning Lip Gloss and Repêchage® Perfect Skin Liquid Foundation. The seaweed and mineral-based Repêchage® Perfect Skin Liquid Foundation has expanded from seven to ten shades, with the addition of PS10 (Golden Deep), PS12 (Medium Deep), and PS 14 (Deep), and is now housed in a new, chic, redesigned bottle.
Repêchage® also took part in the educational programs at this year’s show, with Lydia Sarfati presenting “Demystifying Iontophoresis: An Injection without Needles” for over 60 attendees. Sarfati discussed the process of Iontophoresis, one of the most important techniques an esthetician can employ to reduce the appearance of wrinkles. Through lecture and demonstration, attendees learned how using electrical current can help effectively transfer skin care ingredients to the skin, helping to forestall and maybe even prevent the need for injections.
Brian David Douglas, Repêchage® Educator and Owner of David Douglas Spa in Wilton Manors, FL, also hosted classes on behalf of Repêchage®. In “Contouring Slimming Wrap” Brian discussed and demonstrated an alternative treatment to Cool Sculpting®: the award-winning Repêchage® Peppermint Sea Twist Treatment. In “You’ve Been Upgraded – Optimizing Client’s Time”, Douglas demonstrated how to turn every facial into a five star experience with Repêchage® upgrades, including the Repêchage® Seaweed Treatment Mask, Repêchage® Sliver Ball Massager, Repêchage® Biolight® Luminex Mask, and the Repêchage® Anti-Aging Hand Treatment. Lastly, in “20 Years Ahead! De-coding the Buzzworthy Ingredients and Trends” Douglas shared a list of trending anti-aging ingredients, the science behind these treatments, and how professionals can incorporate these ingredients into their treatment room.
