Get Glowing Body Exfoliating Treatments for Summer

Exfoliating body treatments are a great way to get your clients back to the spa or salon. FUSION™ Face & Body Sugar Scrub Treatment

This deep cleansing and invigorating exfoliating treatment helps to gently exfoliate rough, dry skin. Their innovative formulas combine softening Sugar with sustainably-harvested Seaweed extracts and other natural ingredients, including Matcha, Lemongrass, Aloe, Cocoa, Coffee, and a Multi-Fruit AHA Complex to refine the skin and provide a gentle and mild warming effect.

SALON/SPA PROTOCOL

Time: 60 minutes | Frequency: Monthly or as needed

Choose between the Repêchage® FUSION™ Chocolate Espresso INVIGORATE Face & Body Sugar Scrub or the Repêchage® FUSION™ Matcha Lemongrass DEEP CLEANSE Face & Body Sugar Scrub based on the client’s skin concerns.
Have the client undress in a room provided for them with disposable underwear and bra if needed.
Once changed, instruct the client to lie face down on the bed.
Cover the client with a Mylar sheet. Uncover one leg at a time and spray with Repêchage® Alcohol Antiseptic 80% Topical Solution Hand Sanitizer. Gently buff skin with a Vegan Body Exfoliating Brush to remove grime and oils. Repeat this process on the opposite leg, then on the back.
Remove 4 oz. of the chosen FUSION™ Face & Body Sugar Scrub from the container and place in a rubber bowl. Dispense one teaspoon full of FUSION™ Face & Body Sugar Scrub and begin to massage the back with moistened fingertips. You may also use hot stones. Perform circular massage for five minutes. Cover back with Mylar sheet and proceed on to one leg, uncovering it from the sheet. Apply a teaspoon of the scrub and massage the entire back of leg for five minutes. Cover and proceed to the opposite leg.
Return to the back and remove the FUSION™ Face & Body Sugar Scrub with wet, warm towels, then cover back with dry, hot towel when finished. Repeat this process for both the legs. Make sure the scrub is thoroughly removed before draping with a dry towel and proceeding.
Have the client turn over on their back, and apply Eye Rescue Pads and a Repêchage® sheet mask suitable to the client’s skin concerns to the face.
Proceed with massage on the arms and legs, first spraying with alcohol, then gently buffing with a dry brush. Work systematically. Once finished, proceed with the application of Repêchage® FUSION™ Face & Body Sugar Scrub and massage onto each arm and leg with hot stones, one at a time. Remove scrub with hot, wet towels one at a time as well, covering with a dry, hot towel. Make sure scrub is thoroughly removed.
You can enhance the benefits of the sheet mask by providing a facial massage using Repêchage® Silver Ball Massagers at this time. You may use the Repêchage® LED Radio Frequency and EMS Skin Tightening Machine to enhance product absorption. Once completed, remove mask but do not remove residue.
If client wishes to take a shower, escort them to the shower area if you have one in your spa. When they return, or if they have remained in the room, finish the service with a light, full body massage using Repêchage® Seaweed Body Cream. Honey Body Polish

This exfoliating body treatment is based on pure Honey combined with Almond Meal from fresh crushed Almonds and Oatmeal to slough off dead skin cells, leaving the skin smoother, hydrated and refreshed. Mix with fresh buttermilk for added benefits. This can also be mixed with yogurt, hot milk or almond milk to add a natural, mild lactic (milk-based) acid exfoliation.

SALON/SPA PROTOCOL:

Time: 55 minutes | Frequency: Monthly or as needed

Place Honey Body Polish in a rubber bowl. Mix an equal amount of buttermilk or yogurt and mix until a smooth consistency. Keep the polish warm by placing the bowl in hot water or hot cabinet.
Prepare the bed with a flat sheet, and plastic or Mylar sheet.
Ask client to lie on top of the Mylar sheet face down. Begin massaging the client with Honey Body Polish, starting on the back, buttocks, legs and feet. Turn the client over and massage the legs, stomach and chest area. Total massage should last about 20 minutes.
Cover the client with Mylar sheet, then with a blanket. Leave the client wrapped for 20 minutes.

Pomegranate Cran-Apple All Over Body Scrub

This exfoliating body treatment combines pure cane Sugar with Pomegranate, Cranberry, and Apple to create a gentle, natural exfoliating treatment.

Time: 55 minutes | Frequency: Monthly or as needed

Place Pomegranate Cran-Apple All Over Body Scrub in a rubber bowl and keep warm by placing the bowl in hot water.
Prepare the bed with a flat sheet, Mylar sheet or plastic sheet.
Ask client to lie on top of the Mylar sheet face down. Begin massaging the client with the scrub, starting on the back, buttocks, legs and feet. Turn the client over and massage the legs, stomach and chest area. Total massage should last about 20 minutes.
Cover the client with Mylar sheet, then cover with a towel. Leave the client wrapped for 10 minutes.

Sea Spa Glow

This is a more intensive body exfoliation that uses Dead Sea Salts, known for their reviving, toning and exfoliating qualities. Seaweed, aloe, and peppermint oil are added to help to stimulate the senses while softening the skin.

SALON/SPA PROTOCOL:

Time: 55 Minutes/ Frequency: Once a month

Ask client to lie face down on bed and begin massaging the entire body with Sea Spa Glow using effleurage and petrissage movements.
Turn client over and continue massaging salts onto the front of the body focusing on elbows, knees, soles of feet.
Cover the body with a Mylar sheet and let them rest for 10 minutes.
Apply Eye Rescue Pads and a Repêchage® sheet mask suitable to the client’s skin concerns to the face.
You can enhance the benefits of the sheet mask by providing a facial massage using Repêchage® Silver Ball Massagers at this time. You may use the Repêchage® LED Radio Frequency and EMS Skin Tightening Machine to enhance product absorption. Once completed, remove mask but do not remove residue.

Back Facial with Biolight® Luminex® Mask

This enhanced back facial deep cleanses, exfoliates and moisturizes. Very often, the back is a neglected area, with little done to deep cleanse and exfoliate on a daily basis. This treatment is beneficial for both men and women, can be performed alone or with an eye and face treatment to make it a full body experience and is rejuvenating to the skin while stimulating to the senses.

SALON/SPA PROTOCOL:

Time: Back Facial: 60 Minutes

With Opti-Firm® Eye Contour Treatment and Triple Action Peptide Mask: 90 Minutes/ Frequency: Once a month

Prep: Moisten several disposable personal service towels (see your Repêchage® Service Representative for information on how to purchase), roll up tightly and place several in a towel warmer and the several in small refrigerator to chill. Place packettes of Repêchage® Triple Action Peptide Mask in the refrigerator to chill as well.

Protocol:

Do skin analysis with magnifying mirror.
Start the procedure by sanitizing and disinfecting the entire back area with Repêchage® Alcohol Antiseptic 80% Topical Solution Hand Sanitizer. You may want to spray on your gloved hands and gently massage into the skin if client isn’t prepared for the cold spray.
Gently massage the entire back area with Vegan Body Exfoliating Brush to gently exfoliate dead skin cells.
Create a unique, three-in-one deep cleansing and exfoliating and hydrating mask without irritation. Mix one packette of Repêchage Biolight® Luminex Mask with two tablespoons of Repêchage® Honey and Almond Scrub and two tablespoons of Repêchage T-Zone Balance Cleansing Complex. Blend together in a rubber bowl with a disposable spatula until it is whipped into a consistent paste.
Apply the mixture to the back in long strokes with a Repêchage® Mask Application Brush. Place several drops of Repêchage® Custom Blend Purifying & Calming Essential Oils in the ring of the steamer, and steam mask for 10-15 minutes.
Begin to remove mask using the Repêchage® Ultrasonic Skin Spatula For Micro Exfoliation and Deep Cleansing in slow strokes, going upwards to the neck, holding the Spatula at a 45 degree angle to the skin while still steaming the skin. Wipe excess of mask from Spatula on a clean tissue as you go. When you have finished removing with Spatula, press a warmed personal towel to the back and gently remove any remaining residue. Turn off and set aside steamer.
Use the magnifying mirror to perform extractions. If there is any dead skin cell build-up over the comedones, you can use a lancet to gently lift up the skin. Deposit in an appropriate sharps disposal container. For deeper comedones, you can apply a small amount of Repêchage® Pro-Extract Desincrustation Solution to saponify the comedone. This can be accompanied with Galvanic treatment set on desincrustation mode to help further saponify the comedone. Once area is lanced and softened, you can perform the extraction with little irritation. Spray areas that have been lanced and extracted with Repêchage® Alcohol Antiseptic 80% Topical Solution Hand Sanitizer to disinfect the area.
Apply the Repêchage® Seaweed Body Contouring Mask on the back with long strokes using a fresh Repêchage® Mask Application Brush. Cut a Mylar strip in half, and press over the mask.
Perform a hot stone massage over the Mylar strips for 10 minutes.
Remove the Seaweed Mask with the Mylar sheet, and then remove and further residue with a cool disposable personal towel.
Finish back service with a back massage using Repêchage® Seaweed Body Cream for 10 minutes, using effleurage, petrissage and kneading movements. You can also incorporate a Repêchage® Kansa Wand into the massage for soft pressure.
While an esthetician is performing the back massage, another esthetician can perform a scalp massage using the Repêchage® Hydra-Amino 18® Hair Spa Serum.
Finish by applying a cold disposable personal towel to the back. This will help close and restrict the pores which have been fully opened during the back facial process.
To continue on with a full body treatment, have client roll over on their back. Apply the Repêchage® Opti-Firm® Eye Contour Treatment:
- Cut open Repêchage® Opti-Firm® Eye Contour Cream and remove contents.
- Apply in circular motion towards the nose area.
- Follow with effleurage movements in a figure 8 using alternating hands. Then apply pressure to the orbicularis oculi muscle. Use petrissage, pinching movement along brow bone. Stroke several times alternating fingers on corrugator muscle. Follow with a tapotement movement for three minutes.
- Conclude with pressure point movements and light effleurage. Massage should last 5 – 7 minutes.
- Cut open Opti-Firm® Mask Powder and empty contents into the enclosed medical grade rubber bowl. Add Opti-Firm® Mask Gel and mix until smooth. Apply to the eye contour area using enclosed spatula.
Remove packette of Repêchage® Triple Action Peptide Mask from the refrigerator. Tear open packette, unfold mask and apply directly onto face. Once mask is in place, peel off paper backing at the notch and discard. Adjust mask to fit tightly to the contours of the face.
Massage over the mask with Repêchage® LED Radio Frequency and EMS Skin Tightening Machine set on Red for five minutes. Then, perform facial massage over mask with Repêchage® Silver Ball Massagers.
Optional: Perform a hand massage using Repêchage® Seaweed Body Cream for five minutes.
