What is the Classic European Facial?
A Classic European Facial is known to help deep cleanse, re-balance and hydrate the skin, and can be customized with back bar product to create custom Clinical Facials.
Clinical Facials will address your client’s individual needs, such as dry and sensitive skin, oily and problem skin, and mature skin with fine lines and wrinkles.

What is the protocol for a Classic European Facial?
Below is the protocol for a Classic European Facial.
This protocol can be customized with Repêchage® back bar products to create custom Clinical Facials.

1. Squeeze a small amount of Opti-Cleanse™ Eye Make-up Remover onto damp cotton square and remove eye make-up.
2. Cleanse skin with T-Zone Balance Cleansing Complex.
3. Remove cleanser with damp cotton squares.
4. Tone the skin with T-Zone Balance Toning Complex and blot with a tissue.
Optional: Ultraonsic Skin Spatula – This helps to exfoliate dead skin that dulls the complexion and improves the appearance of skin tone by removing dry, flaky skin.
5. Apply a small amount (1 tablespoon) of Aqua Massage Cream to the face, neck and décolletage, and begin a European Facial Massage for 10 minutes under steam. Blot excess cream off with a tissue.
Optional: Perform massage with Repêchage® Kansa Wand
6. For granular exfoliation keep steam on and mix 1 spoonful of Honey and Almond Scrub with buttermilk or plain yogurt* in a small glass bowl.
*If buttermilk or plain yogurt is unavailable, Hydra 4® Cleanser or T-Zone Balance Cleanser may be used.
7. Apply the scrub to the face and neck with a mask brush or gloved hands.
8. Massage the scrub in circular motions for approximately 3 minutes under
9. Create a mummy mask using cotton moistened with warm water.
10. Use damp cotton squares to remove the scrub. Follow up with dry cotton (buff off any mask residue with dry cotton).
11. Steam the skin for 10 minutes.
12. After steaming pat dry.
13. Perform galvanic desincrustation on the negative pole with Desincrustation Solution to help with the saponification of comedones.
14. If extractions are needed, put on a pair of vinyl gloves** and wrap fingers in cotton or facial tissues.
**Vinyl gloves should always be used as some clients may have an allergy to latex.
15. Begin extraction process for 10 minutes max.
16. After extractions, spray skin with Herbal Astringent.
17. Perform high frequency to help improve circulation and provide a germicidal effect.
18.Apply the Balancing Hydrating Mask to the face and neck area with a mask brush.
19. Allow mask to set for 7 minutes. Use damp cotton to create a “mummy mask” for removal of the mask.
20. Apply T-Zone Balance Toning Complex.
21. Optional add on for hydration — Apply the Pro-Electro Galvanic Gel or C-Serum® Seaweed Filtrate
22. Optional add on — Apply the Lamina Lift™ Hydrating Seaweed Mask. Work the product in with the LED Radio Frequency and EMS Skin Tightening Machine on Red.
23. Finish with application of T-Zone Balance Moisture Complex to face and neck.
